Salesforce Uses Free Mobile Lite for Bait

It’s 'taking enterprise cloud computing to the masses'

Salesforce.com has run up some free Mobile Lite widgetry so users can access basic CRM functions in its so-called Sales and Service Clouds from iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices.

It figures the move will accelerate cloud adoption.

It claims it's "taking enterprise cloud computing to the masses."

Users will be able to log calls and e-mails, update activities and tasks, view account and contact details, leads, opportunities, cases, solutions, assets and dashboards, a subset of the features available in its full mobile version.
