Xactly Integrates Xactly Incent Sales Compensation Management With Oracle's Siebel CRM On Demand to Drive New Levels of Sales Productivity and Performance

Xactly Direct Connector for Siebel CRM On Demand and Xactly Incentive Estimator Provide Seamless Visibility of CRM and Sales Com

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Oracle OpenWorld 2007 -- Xactly Corporation, (http://www.xactlycorp.com/), the market leader in on-demand sales performance management, today announced its Xactly Direct Connector(TM) for Oracle's Siebel CRM On Demand, delivering integration and secure data sharing with single sign-on between Siebel CRM On Demand and Xactly Incent(TM) for sales compensation management. With this announcement, Xactly is delivering robust incentive compensation estimation capability for a Siebel CRM On Demand sales opportunity. Xactly Incent's patent-pending Incentive Estimator(TM) provides Siebel CRM On Demand customers with the ability to run "what-if" scenarios based on Siebel CRM On Demand opportunities or estimated sales to calculate potential commission and bonus estimates and payments before, during and after a sale.

As a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, Xactly's integration of Xactly Direct Connector for Siebel CRM On Demand has been validated through the Oracle Application Integration Architecture for Partners initiative. As a result, Siebel CRM On Demand customers can leverage Xactly Incent capabilities within their Siebel implementations to help drive more productive and profitable sales behaviors. The new Xactly Direct Connector for Siebel CRM On Demand and the Xactly Incentive Estimator will be demonstrated at Oracle OpenWorld in the Siebel CRM On Demand Pavilion.

While variable sales compensation plans can promote strategic sales behaviors, such plans are optimally effective only when sales reps have real- time visibility into how they are being paid. By combining and integrating the two applications, Xactly will enable a company's sales reps to conveniently access the powerful Incentive Estimator feature of Xactly Incent while still within Siebel CRM On Demand. The rep's individualized compensation plan and incentive calculation rules are imported transparently into Siebel CRM On Demand, allowing the rep to run "what-if" scenarios against live Siebel CRM opportunities of interest to quickly discover how to maximize commissions and other incentive payouts in accord with the strategic compensation plan.

"There are natural, powerful synergies between the CRM and sales performance management application categories," said Mary Wardley, research vice president of CRM Applications at IDC. "By integrating pre-sales data from Siebel CRM On Demand with post-sales data from Xactly Incent, Oracle customers will be able extend their CRM investment in powerful, new ways. With increased visibility, sales reps will see where to focus their energies based on potential commission payments while management will be better situated to align their sales efforts with corporate objectives."

"Siebel CRM On Demand helps companies more effectively manage their sales performance to close more deals," said Karen Steele, Xactly vice president of marketing. "Xactly Incent works closely with Siebel CRM On Demand to help make sure they're closing the most strategic and profitable business. Xactly is pleased to provide this added value to Siebel CRM On Demand customers. One of the advantages of the on-demand world is the ease with which synergies can be realized between complementary applications. Xactly's strategy is to be open and agnostic to the universe of both on-demand and on-premise CRM, ERP, HR, payroll and other front- and back-end applications and services, so these synergies can be leveraged in the broadest possible way to benefit our customers."

Pre-sales data in CRM applications such as Siebel CRM On Demand, and post- sales data in sales performance management applications such as Xactly Incent, can be leveraged in concert to increase sales productivity, motivation and efficiency, and ultimately revenues and profits. As a part of the sales compensation management process, Xactly Incent provides customers with the means to aggregate, cleanse, centralize and analyze post-sales data extracted from all relevant sources across an enterprise, entirely on-demand. Hence, Xactly Incent functions as an on-demand hosted repository for all sales performance-related information -- including visibility into who sold what to whom, at what margins, through which channels, and so on -- all of which can be used to fine-tune programs and plan more effective future programs.

As sales reps access Xactly Incent functionality from within Siebel CRM On Demand, they should be able to use information filters such as date and probability of closure to quickly focus on opportunities of interest or estimated sales, and then project commissions before, during and after a sale. Reps can then easily determine where best to put their sales efforts and how to structure deals for maximum payout. They are also able to see where they stand at any point in time in regard to plan, and make real-time and informed adjustments accordingly to meet their goals.

"Strategic compensation combined with real-time visibility is valuable functionality to help mold desirable sales behaviors," said Anthony Lyle, vice president, Siebel CRM On Demand at Oracle. "This functionality, delivered by Xactly, is a strong complement when deployed with Siebel CRM On Demand."

Where many organizations get into trouble, however, is that they try to have a broad and deep knowledge in each of these areas. This is a huge blow to an organization's productivity. By automating or outsourcing some of these pieces, such as databases, infrastructure, and networks, your team can instead focus on development, testing, and deployment. Further, organizations that focus their attention on these areas can eventually move to a test-driven development structure that condenses several l...
The term "digital transformation" (DX) is being used by everyone for just about any company initiative that involves technology, the web, ecommerce, software, or even customer experience. Never mind that we might not know what the future holds for cryptocurrencies and how much values will fluctuate or even how the process of mining a coin could cost as much as the value of the coin itself - cryptocurrency mining is a hot industry and shows no signs of slowing down. However, energy consumption to mine cryptocurrency is one of the biggest issues facing this industry. Burning huge amounts of electricity isn't incidental to cryptocurrency, it's basically embedded in the core of "mini...
