Slalom Consulting Honored With Glassdoor 2014 Employees' Choice Award

SEATTLE, Dec. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Slalom Consulting, a national business and technology consulting firm headquartered in Seattle, has been honored with the Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award, recognizing the 50 Best Places to Work in 2014. Slalom earned a rating of 4.1 out of 5 and jumped from number 25 last year to number 15 on this year's award list.

The Employees' Choice Awards, now in its sixth year, rely solely on the input of employees who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments, and culture via Glassdoor's online survey. Employees must provide the Glassdoor reviews anonymously, without incentive by employers. Only one company review per employee is accepted per year, and each review must meet Glassdoor's community guidelines.

"Slalom is honored to receive this award which recognizes employee enthusiasm and engagement," said John Tobin, Co-Founder and President, North America. "We're particularly proud because it's solely based upon unprompted employee feedback."

Slalom has received additional accolades honoring its work culture over the past year, including Consulting magazine's Best Firms to Work For award as well as local awards such as the Top 100 Places to Work by The Dallas Morning News and the number one spot on the Seattle Business 100 Best Companies to Work For list. The company credits these awards for elevating its ability to recruit top talent and attract clients.

Tobin also reflected, "We're expecting 2014 to be another incredible year for Slalom and our 2,200 employees. We are grounded in who we are, in both our purpose and core values, and the upcoming year will be no exception. Our values differentiate us, and we believe these foundational components will propel us to new heights in the future. Our employees' endorsement of Slalom as a Best Place to Work validates this belief."

In 2013, Slalom opened offices in Phoenix and Minneapolis, and continues to expand and recruit over the next year. In 2014, the company plans to open in Houston, along with its first international offices in London and Toronto. Interested in working for Slalom? Please check out current career opportunities.
