Free CRM Tags Web 2.0

Company is First CRM Provider to Incorporate Tagging Into its Hosted CRM Application

Free CRM, the world's only free, multi-user CRM solutions provider has announced the release of Web 2.0 "Tags" for it's flagship product. Tags are often used in social software and Web 2.0 pages, and FreeCRM.com is the first on-demand CRM vendor to offer CRM Tags as a unique and novel application in the CRM marketplace. Free CRM was the first on-demand CRM provider to incorporate AJAX technology, another Web 2.0 feature, and is now the first CRM provider to incorporate CRM Tagging into their hosted, on-demand Free CRM application.

A tag is a keyword which acts like a subject, group or category, and is used in the Free CRM package to organize data objects within the application. Now users can quickly group together contacts, companies, deals, tasks, support cases, emails and calls in a more abstract manner, giving Free CRM users the power to create collections of related information in a more abstract, higher level structure. Free CRM users "tag" data using unique tags, and data can be related to multiple collections with multiple tags.

"CRM Tags" can be used to specify properties of an object and can be used to find and group objects in larger collections of data. Other examples of Web 2.0 "Tagging" can be found in social or consumer applications, such as Del.icio.us and Flickr, as well as the popular news service Digg. CRM Tags are a unique business implementation of these innovative Web 2.0 technologies and further augment the functionality of the CRM application by providing a high level organization structure for data that is abstract, flexible, secure, and completely controlled by the users.

"CRM Tagging has liberated our customer's data from the typical strict data structures found in most CRM applications; now our customers can easily group and organize data in a completely new way that is helpful, powerful, and easy to use," said Harel Malka, CTO for CRM ASP, Inc., parent company and operator of FreeCRM.com, "Creating new organizational structures and arbitrary collections of data has never been easier, CRM Tagging is really powerful and incredibly valuable in a CRM application; we were the first CRM provider to implement AJAX, and now we're also the first to implement tagging."

The challenges of aggregating data from consumer-oriented devices, such as wearable technologies and smart thermostats, are fairly well-understood. However, there are a new set of challenges for IoT devices that generate megabytes or gigabytes of data per second. Certainly, the infrastructure will have to change, as those volumes of data will likely overwhelm the available bandwidth for aggregating the data into a central repository. Ochandarena discusses a whole new way to think about your next...

Cell networks have the advantage of long-range communications, reaching an estimated 90% of the world. But cell networks such as 2G, 3G and LTE consume lots of power and were designed for connecting people. They are not optimized for low- or battery-powered devices or for IoT applications with infrequently transmitted data. Cell IoT modules that support narrow-band IoT and 4G cell networks will enable cell connectivity, device management, and app enablement for low-power wide-area network IoT. B...

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). When we are looking at the world of IoT, we should take a step back, look at the big picture. What value are these devices providing. IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...
