OVERCOMING OBSTACLES AND SETBACKS
1) Fall Down Seven Times Get up Eight.
2) If you are going through hell (lost a deal, behind plan, etc.) keep going.
3) Believe that you are going to turn this setback into a comeback!
It is inevitable that some defeat will enter even the most victorious life. The human spirit is never finished when it is defeated... It is finished when it surrenders.
PATIENCE
4) Walt Disney was turned down 302 times before he got financing for Disneyland.
5) A handful of Patience is worth more than a bushel of brains.
6) Patience is the ability to idle your motor when you feel like stripping your gears.
Be patient. You get the chicken by letting it hatch, not by smashing the egg.
TEAMWORK
7) Never forget that your success was not earned by you alone.
8) People in the same boat should help each other.
9) A true Team creates an "Us" without destroying the "Me".
Together Everyone Achieves Miracles
PREPARATION
10) Remember the gunfighter's creed, fast is fine but accuracy is everything!
11) It is better to Prepare than Repair.
12) Always be ready to call an audible when meeting with a client (have a plan "B").
The next time you have an important meeting turn off your cell phone on the way to the meeting. Practice your talk tracks, anticipate the potential objections, and know what your objectives are for the meeting.
MISTAKES
13) No one is ever as bad as the worst mistake they've made.
14) Those who aren't making mistakes aren't making anything.
15) Every path has a puddle.
Mistakes are often the dress rehearsal for the future winning solution.
EMBRACING CHANGE
16) In The Book of Life the answers aren't always in the back.
17) Don't expect anything original from an Echo.
18) The only person that likes change is a wet baby.
The old route is not always the best or the fastest.
CLIENTS
19) What have I done for my Clients today?
20) Know the total value of thy customer (purchased $ 60,000 annually instead of $ 2,000 last month).
21) Quota is not what comes in but rather, it is the some total of, what goes out - to the clients and prospects (cold calls, networking, internal and external relationships, creative solutions).
Believe that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, Believe that you or your products or services may be that light for your clients and potential prospects.
LEADERSHIP
23) It is not the position who makes the leader, it's the leader who makes the position.
24) Leadership is influence - nothing more, nothing less.
25) Honor the greatness in others.
Leadership Creed: Work hard, with pride, discipline, integrity and respect for your associates.
Wishing you continued growth and success! Great Selling!
